Lexi Maher, LPC-Associate under the supervision of Jeremy Pierce, MA, LPC-S, LMFT-S
Hi, my name is Lexi Maher. I am an LPC-Associate under the supervision of Jeremy Pierce, MA, LPC-S, LMFT-S. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in English from the University of Texas at Arlington. I completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University.
I have experience working with children and adults as they struggle to manage life difficulties, self-esteem, and relationships. I am passionate about creating a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship so individuals can openly share and work towards making positive changes. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to support each unique individual. My goal is to provide a safe environment for clients to feel empowered to become the best versions of themselves by exploring self-reflections, inner strengths, building positive relationships, and reducing negative thought patterns.
Personal
If I am not working, I spend my free time with my family. I enjoy traveling, reading a good book, and being outdoors. I was diagnosed with Appendix Cancer in 2021 and I am now a cancer survivor. I value my personal relationship with God and the passion he has given me to love others and help them find joy and freedom from life struggles.
